Food production
Among the crops produced in Palashbaria Union, paddy is the most important crop.
 The place of jute is after rice. Next, the agricultural products to be mentioned
 are pulses such as musculature, peas, chickpeas etc. Oil seeds include mustard 
and sesame. Food crops like Kaun, China, Dhunda, Wheat, Barley are produced. 
The notable fruits here are footi (bangi), watermelon, kheera etc.
 Also in this district are mango, jam, jackfruit, guava, coconut, betel nut,
 palm, dates, grapefruit (batabi lemon), lemon, tamarind.
Fruits such as kamaranga, olive, bel, pomegranate, ata etc. are also produced
 in large quantities. Chilli, Onion, Garlic, Coriander, Ginger etc. Spice crops,
 Gourd, Sweet pumpkin, Rice pumpkin, Uchche, Bitter gourd, Chichinga, Jinga, Dhundul,
 Beans, Barbati, Kakarl, Dharash, Round potato, Eggplant, Tomato Cauliflower, Cabbage 
etc. Vegetables are produced in abundance.
